The music I wrote for this award-winning theatre show was composed with the primary composer of the show Tane Upjohn-Beatson, and was based on his pre-existing melodies and his established sound for the show. It was an inspiring process working with Tane and learning from him.

Tröll was written & performed by Ralph McCubbin Howell and directed by Hannah Smith.

This show has gone on to play at Edinburgh Fringe 2019 where it became an Outstanding Theatre Award Winner for the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe Review. This show was also nominated for various awards at the 2019 Wellington Theatre Awards, including Best Original Music.
